I have been unlucky enough to purchase the vinyl reissues of World of Echo and Iowa Dream on Rough Trade. Both have the records stored inside PVC bags, which means that they get stuck to vinyl and you need to UNGLUE them from the vinyl. As a result of that the vinyl gets severely damaged and ends up being unplayable. Please do yourself a favour and get the CD version instead!
i own the original pressing and this one is even better sounding with the tracks on 4 sides!! Really a great job!! Pity that the "Picture of bunny rabbit" is completely the opposite with a lot of surface noises sounding like a 50 years old worn LP, unbelievable

Edited one year agoAs other reviewers have said, this (RTRADLP208) is an absolutely wonderful sounding reissue.
Pressing sounds absolutely fantastic but as mentioned before, vinyl is packaged in PVC sleeves. So make sure that you open the outer sleeve and take the records out to put them in new inner sleeves!
I bought this in December 2020 in person. Just checked matrix etc, so a change of release date might be due to please the nitpickers : )
Great pressing. There’s surface noise at parts because it’s a quiet, breathy album and it’s a vinyl record lol.
Get a CD or a digital if the occasional pop/click bothers you so much. Buy without hesitation!- Sounds amazing but is packaged with PVC inner sleeves for some reason?! Sealed copies are likely going to sound terrible in 10+ years time.
Leftfield for sure, and very personal 'excursions' as another discogian wrote. Fluid and dynamic, and at times further out there than perhaps most would appreciate.
Hands down my favorite reissue of 2021. Thank you Light in the attic records!
