This starts out with a typical innocent go-happy disco beat. But before you know it, the baddest bassline in any disco record of that era (debatable) violently springs forth. It is the first thing you kick in to on first listen. Taana´s feather-thin vocals is a true contrast to that bassline.. But somehow it just works. And the track is always on the edge and doesn´t let go. Marvelous!!
One could say that this was a crossover disco/house record all because of that bassline because it went into a repetitive pattern
Such a sinister classic from the Paradise Garage era.. Gives me the chills almost.
