        Saw that Sonic Temple and Ceremony were reissued on vinyl today. I've been waiting for a reissue of Ceremony, so I'm happy that it's finally been released, but this album is the one that I've been wishing for the most. Thought I'd come and check to see if it was possibily reissued today as well, but not the case.

        Good on Beggars Banquet for reissuing the band's discography on vinyl. I know Atlantic owns the rights to BGAE, but figured a Music On Vinyl or similar label would've leased the tracks to issue them on vinyl by now. Curious why it hasn't happened. Disappointing.

                    I always felt the mastering of this album was on the muddy side. Treble and bass seem a bit cranked (with the bass, it sounds cranked but dull.. hard to put my finger on it exactly). Not much in the way of body. Two other albums released around this time that I know of suffer from this same effect: Gravity Kills "Superstarved" and KMFDM "Attak"

                    It's a shame because it's a good album and sounds much stronger than the previous self-titled album.

                    Also, if someone has the unmastered CD-R editions and doesn't want to sell them, please contact me. I would love to hear them and make them available for others to enjoy. I like to believe that the unmastered versions have better sound (such was the case with the unmastered version of Red Hot Chili Peppers "Californication")

                      Beyond good & Evil belongs with Love, Electric & Sonic Temple as a classic Cult album. The other releases by these guys are good, even great in part but the four Albums mentioned are "start to finish then repeat" Rock Classics that will forever ( & I quote) "Shake the World to the Ground, all the time Baby".
