Black Sabbath – Technical Ecstasy

Nice pressing.
I grabbed this for $25 and found a pristine OG pressing an hour later at a thift store.

With "She´s Gone" the album contains one of the very best Sabbath songs of all time and this south korean version has a special withering cover.

A very bright, thin sounding, remaster. Not well done unfortunately. I wonder how the band could approve this to be released. Try finding the original CD release instead. I had to remaster this release myself to make it listenable.

I have one of these PRICE40A//1∇420W ... PRICE40B//1∇420W. First 3 tracks on either side sound good. 'Shes Gone' has great reproduction of the strings. However, final song on both sides suffer for brutal inner groove distortion (for me). So much that it is impossible to listen to. 'Dirty Women' suffers the most on the final bars. Ozzys vocal frequency becomes intolerable.

I have this Scandinavian pressing and it suffers badly from inner groove distortion. Ozzy's voice sits right in those frequencies where it's really bothersome. I'm looking for a better pressing.

Who is rating this less than 5 stars? You must have sawdust in your ears.
Underrated album, and this pressing is stunning. Even on my modest set up this is seriously impressive. Love the green obi strip.
Everything about the Japanese pressing is quality down to the card used on the jackets. Great value and I’d imagine only a UK 1st press could perhaps surpass?

Very bad RTB pressing,good enough for wall decoration and nothing else.
