referencing Look On Yonder's Wall (LP, Album, Stereo) DS-614
This 1969 Delmark LP pulls material from two different 1967 sessions. Four of the songs pair Crudup with a guitar/bass/drums lineup, the remainder feature him with his longtime bass player, Ransom Knowling. This pressing sounds good, instrumentation is warm and clear, and the soundstage is quiet and intimate. My copy plays with frequent light surface noise and a single skip on "Landlord Blues". - Stunning pressing. Flat and quiet. Vocals sound like you are in the room with them. Highly recommended high fidelity blues recording.
