- For twenty quid its all good. As uber basic as the packaging is for being the thinnest of jacket and merely having a plain paper inner the LP is very nicely pressed and plays great. The music is as good as modern jazz gets though its not jazz in the purest sense. Its something different and something gooood. Very relaxing and warm
Girl And Robot With Flowers (Part VI) is a work of unparalleled genius. That flugelhorn solo gets stuck in my head for days whenever I play this record. Absolutely love this psychedelic jazz masterpiece.- Incredible album, so many different styles excellently played. For a breath will tarry with Matthew Halsall on horn is gorgeous.
I really love this album. The recording is superb and the retro sound make it a timeless release. Don't forget to check some live recording on their official page.- Not my kind of acoustic fish: sounds like a soundtrack to a hardcore version of Bilitis: well crafted, but with as much bite as a marshmallow. I am positive it works fine with lovely silent super-8 movies.
- Note that the track durations for side B seem to be incorrect (duplicates of A-side durations) on the sleeve. An excellent record whatsoever!
Beautiful record. I am 100% behind anything Greg Foat Group releases.... absolutely love the 'Have Spacesuit Will Travel (Part II) .. cosmic italo with a live jazz feel... unstoppable.
