Excellent pressing with great sound definition. If your copy is skipping it's probably unique to your copy and/or your turntable.referencing Lizard (LP, Album, Stereo) ILPS 9141
Hey kind people! Can anybody help me find out which version I own? Seems like a UK pressing with the incorrect order of A2 and A3, white inner sleeve and runnout reading like: I-2 ILPS 9141 A2 EG and I-6 ILPS 9141 B2 EGreferencing Lizard (LP, Album, Repress) ILPS 9141
You can't go wrong with these uk presses,i compared japanese and the 2012 reissue and liked this one in every way. While the reissue is clean, detailed is a whole balanced mastering while the original has all the detail but with plenty of bite at the same time.referencing Lizard (LP, Album, Reissue, Gatefold) 88 025 ET
Nice pressing, very quiet, excellent midrange, great detail, well mastered!referencing Lizard (LP, Album, Reissue, Stereo) P-10347A
This is another For You situation in which the mastering is almost too hot for the albums own good in terms of distortion and sillibence. I just put on "The Battle of Glass Tears," and the 30th anniversary remaster ripped from my DVD copy of Lizard is eons better than how it sounded on the Japanese LP regardless, it still is a fine purchase in my opinion, just for the album art alone.
It was known that Fripp detested the way the album sounded, even going as far back in the late 90s when it was remastered. Certainly, the remaster sounds better than the LP, or maybe I have a recency bias and you can disregard what I just said.

A very good version, but sounds less natural than the first EGCD4 from nimbus and the mix sounds differently balanced. - One of the best sounding records I possess. Scary good presence and dynamics. Steal of a price. (For now...)
