As a big fan of the Circle Jerks I think that last review is so off. There are no weak songs on this gem of an album and what's not to like about Junk Mail? Rats of Reality may be a tad slower than there usual but no means "drags" it's a totally badass track! I think the first album is overrated, Wild in the Streets is easily a masterpiece (original mix without echo) Also check out the overlooked 4th album Wonderful, which is a little more heavy metal with Keith sounding unhinged as ever.
This is a bootleg release, it sounds really good and clear. Wish it had about more loudness to it like group sex. But then again this album was mixed well where as group sex is just put all the levels to max. Over all I can highly recommend this bootleg sounds great. You won’t be disappointed.- Is this a bootleg or is it an official release???

A very good but not great record. "Bad Words" and "Junk Mail" are kind of throw away songs and "Rats Of Reality" sort of drags, but the other nine songs are high quality, particularly "Coup de'Etat" and the title track.
When folks profess their love for the CJs, it is "Group Sex" that usually -- and rightly -- gets top props. But "Golden Shower" is no slouch either. And if you ask me, it is a step up from their second album, "Wild In The Streets" which suffers from stale production and a more than a few uninspired songs.
