- Owning this, especially Sebas masterpiece "Planetary Funk Alert" on vinyl is a true gem. Incredible.
- This compilation has 9 tracks and were fantastic releases in their own right. Unmistakable Bukem label sounds these tracks have featured on some of my favourite mix CD’s and is a great start to finish play.
- Edited 2 years agoThe track Ils & Solo - In The Area is actually Ils & Solo - Sweet Sunshine.
This is the one of the few releases I'm aware of on Good Looking that has a digital copy of this tune.
Seems to be a recurring issue regarding this release as even Bukem got the track titles mixed up on his Kiss FM recordings quite a bit in the mid 90s. - Great compilation, but a weird issue with the continuous mix CD.
If you rip this to a hard drive, the track names are totally bollocksed up…someone in LGR was blissfully unaware that the continuous mix on CD2 was done in a different order to the track order of the album on CD1.
If you plan to whip the resulting rip onto a USB to play in the car (as I did), you’ll need to edit your mp3 titles. The running order shown on Discogs for the disc in question (CD2) is correct and should be used as a guide.
