T.S.O.L. – Dance With Me

Writing this May 2025 (6 years after it was released) If you’re in the UK you absolutely do not have to pay stupid prices to get hold of this I got it from Amazon brand new for £10

Mine scans to this release but mine has the gold labels and says jack is comedy and I won etched on the dead wax

My copy matches all these identifications except it has a barcode and I can’t find the version which mine had an etching that says “jack is comedy” on side A and “I Won!” on side B

I have two copies of this LP. One is a first press with large ring and lyric sheet. The second has a small ring, but does NOT have S- 9849 added to the matrix. It also does not have a lyric sheet. The cover is exactly the same on both issues. There is no difference in contrast. So, another early variant exists for this release.

I just watched a YouTube podcast with Frontier Records founder Lisa Fancher explaining the terrible new cover for this cd with the new font and blaming Dexter Holland for changing it and releasing on Nitro Records. But I just learned through discogs that Frontier, her label, actually released it in 1988 on CD with the awful cover not Nitro. Why would she lie?

My Nitro vinyl copy is kind of a smoky white. Anyone else have this?

This is the best I’ve ever heard the album sound.

Being that this is labeled as an "Unofficial Release", is this press any good?
