      This album is criminally underrated. The melodies and bass lines (especially on Afraid of Your Company), the lyrics, the reversed guitar riffs, Lydia's cathartically confrontational vocal style... it's such an amazing combination. It's a perfectly dark, haunting, and chaotic soundscape with a touch of psychedelia that seemingly represents a cycle of abuse and introspection.
      Personally, this album has been the soundtrack to some of the darkest points of my life. It's eerily comforting and relatable. It really does hold a special place in my heart. Solid 10/10.

              how could this be considered new wave and no wave?? no wave is the exact opposite of new wave!!
