The first time i heard silver bath was back in 2003 and its been one of my favorite m.i.k.e push production with his Roland JP-8000 synth . Never did i realize the B side Dahab is an awesome dark ride . Its more of an progressive trance , reminds me of James Holden - solstice .referencing Silver Bath (12", 33 ⅓ RPM) BTP-088-2002
Just found "Dahab" on Thrillseeker's DJing show on Youtube with MIKE.
Never heard this track before and it's stunning on 2023.

Huge tune in Silver Bath, caned by everyone and loved by all. But - don't skip Dahab on the B side - an absolute sleeper tune that is just astonishingly good. I used it to start many a DJ mix and it builds wonderfully, with some breathtaking, soaring synths that reach the heavens. I feel like it has a sort of 'middle eastern' mystery to it, it's unlike anything else out there, and it's bleedin' wonderful.referencing Silver Bath (12", 45 RPM) PHS 030-12

Silver bath is an amazing trance track. But only now, almost 20 years later, when I'm finally cataloging all my vinyl and listening each and all tracks on them, I discovered this gem on this record's B-side: Dahab. I'm a big fan of Silver Bath, it's a very good, typical M.I.K.E. epic trance track which was the primary reason I bought this record, but now I consider Dahab to be on the same level as its A-side counterpart; even though it is a much darker track. Its heavy, rough bassline combined with spooky, atmospheric pads create a very powerful but menacing atmosphere. It doesn't climax as well as Silver Bath, but it keeps your full attention all the way. It's like a predator watching you from somewhere nearby, one wrong (dance)move and you're done for. Dahab, wow, what a surprise find! It instantly promoted this record to a prized item in my collection of dance vinyl :) referencing Silver Bath (12", 33 ⅓ RPM) BTP-088-2002
One of the most emotional breaks in Trance music. Absolute amazing.referencing Silver Bath (12", 33 ⅓ RPM) BTP-088-2002
Not sure why this is selling for so much when you can buy an equally good UK / German pressing for a fraction of the cost.
Maybe Bonzai collectors? Other than that, I can't see a reason.
I just picked up a copy of the German (Audioplast) white label pressing. Sounds incredible.referencing Silver Bath (12", 33 ⅓ RPM) BTP-088-2002

To be honest this tune will never get old! Definitely one of the greatest trance anthems I have ever heard and played. As many other releases from Mike, Silver Bath has an unique and very energic athmosphere. The synths are simply unbelievable!
