Such a cool thing that Matador released this. It's such a beautiful and mysterious solo debut. Mary's musicianship is on full display here, and the pressing sounds quiet and crisp. Here's hoping they do the same for The Golden Dove.
This is a cool release.... great packaging and what not... but Matador has failed us again by using a subpar pressing plant (I suspect Independent Record Pressing). Lots of surface noise throughout.
What a great service Matador has done us with this reissue. The bonus tracks are great, so so happy to see this is my collection.
