Beautiful Noise is a great ND album, IMHO, in terms of songwriting, performances and writing; but oddly suffering from a very ordinary mix lacking in depth and dimension, overloaded with reverb, and not helped by the lackluster mastering here; even the Spotify MP3 version of the album is a better listen.
For something produced by the late great Robbie Robertson, it seems unthinkable - but there it is.
We can only hope that this album eventually gets the remix and mastering it deserves, because it could - and should - sound fantastic.- Another gift from Jake. Tongue in cheek. Thanks man haha.

Must admit this tape sounds fantastic for 3 ¾ ips! 😍
The only bad thing is that the right channel is noticeably quieter than the left channel.
