This is a quality pressing of an excellent album. I wore out this CD back in the day and the sound of it on hefty (180gr?) vinyl is wonderful. Dynamic, balanced; quiet where it should be, and the bass comes through magnificently.- Received new runout variant on side A (A3 instead of A1 or B1)

Cannot overstate how wonderful this pressing is. This is one of the quietest LPs I own. Softer music like this will most times have some noise in the BG. This is pin drop quiet. Listening in the still-dark morning with some black-as-night coffee is quite a treat. The purple ain't exactly purple, but who cares? I need this treatment for SHE HANGS BRIGHTLY!
Sounds great. My one came with the stickers on the wrong sides. Side A is Side B and vice versa

Yes, this 2024 rerelease of the ‘16/‘17 mastering sounds really good. It was in pretty loose shrink in the store (bought new) which was strange these days. One hell of a freaking dish warp however. Luckily doesn’t affect playback.
This German press is really perfect, and the mastering is spot on. Flat, quiet, nice wide soundstage, great balance between vocals and instruments. Bottom end is house shaking great, and drums, tambourine all sound nice and crisp. Don't know how the EU pressing sounds but this sounds good to my ears.
