What else can be said about this album that hasn't already been said. Despite it coming out 2 years before the big techstep wave and more or less birthing the template, it has a uniquely brutal and savage sound that many producers just couldn't replicate. The pads and samples on millennium are still some of the most bone chilling sounds in any dnb tune. Compound, Fixation, Slip Thru, Point Blank, Wormhole; all dancefloor destroyers to this day. Dozer and Glass Eye are just pure evil. Many just discovering the genre likely won't enjoy it due to it's old school stripped back repetitiveness, but it certainly grows on you and you learn to respect the overall sound design and the easily missable details. Highly recommend experiencing this album with the mix cd. Overall a classic seminal album that will still be discussed 100 years from now.

I can't add much to the other reviews. But, my 5x12" treasured copy is still in NM condition. I picked it up when visiting NYC in the 1990s. Manhattan had roughly 5 electronic music stores back then, you know, the kind of shops with mostly vinyl for sale, with turntables lining the walls for auditioning one's selections.
I already had one 12" of ER & Optical on Virus that I loved - but almost didn't pick this set up because of its $60 price tag - which seems ridiculous now, but back then it was the most expensive "record" I've ever purchased. Of course I'm super-happy I did. I still spin it occasionally, as this duo is my fave D&B outfit on planet Earth.

If you're willing to sell a clean (VG+) copy of Disc 2 with original inner sleeve... I'm your guy!

Wormhole... nothing fresher. The title track is absolutely unbeatable, they threw the kitchen sink along with the rest of the restaurant supply store into that banger. Unthinkably catchy.
That being said, most of the rest of the record is a "less is more" affair: its mainly focused on groove, texture and atmosphere, rather than the more up front hard hitting vibes of Prototype or Moving Shadow records of that era. This is why its such a stone cold classic. Its been said, the more you listen to this record the more you find bits of nuance and clever, almost hidden sounds trapped forever within. For such a minimal album, its amazingly creative, with punchy, thoughtful mixes that are soft and pleasing to the ear... and even for tech step/Neuro, a much overdone style at this point in time;.. a stand alone monument. The Rosetta stone of darkside DnB.

This has been a favourite since the day it was released, still sounds fresh 25 years later and is probably one of my most cherished vinyls. Every track is a classic, sublime and they mix so well together. BUY ON SIGHT

First time I’ve heard on vinyl after years of the cd. Little intricacies littered throughout…tied with photek for best 90s dnb

A bit pricey, but the boxset and booklet look and feel great, not to mention the incredible pressing of all the vinyl. I love having one track per side, at 45, as well. I'm very pleased I picked it up.

                    You know the drill.
If you don't already own it, get it.

Hope the rest of the old school catalog gets the same treatment.
                    Please!
If someone knows the run amount on these, pkease share.

awesome pressing, bit pricey on rsd however for 5 separate vinyl the price isn't so bad
gives you a good workout having to swap for each song lol worth it though
