The Dance Remix is the same as the 12" Version on the UK CD single but extended by 40 seconds or so at the end.
The Dance Remix Edit is the same as the 7" Version on the UK CD single.
The Dance Remix Instrumental is the same as the Club Mix on the Coatings compilation. - Edited 12 years agoColin Newman was so unimpressed by Rico Conning's production on 'In Vivo' that he went back into the studio and retouched it (hear this 'correct' mix on "The A List"), and it's not hard to understand why: the Conning mix is a train wreck. But 'In Vivo' is a terrific song, one of the finest pop tunes ever concocted by Wire. On 'Illuminated', a one-time show opener, Graham Lewis takes the mic; there are some interesting vocal effects but the track is painfully long and monotonous, typifying what many fans dislike about Wire's '80s incarnation.
