This sounds like it may well have been mastered from a non-US CD - especially the first three tracks. This is the only vinyl edition I know of that has the SK samples at hte beginning of "Patterns Of Behaviour" - on other Manscape vinyls they are completely absent - as the only vinyl they appear on other than this is at the end of "Stampede" on the "Life In The Manscape" promo 12"referencing Manscape (CD, Album) 7 73559-2
The UK, European and Japanese CDs - and the digital version - have Stampede at 4:35 and Patterns Of Behaviour at 4:33. This is due to a short section erroneously tracked on to the beginning of the latter track. The US Enigma CD has this section correctly positioned at the end of Stampede - so the timings are actually 4:50 and 4:17 respectively. These are correct because Stampede has the samples at the end on the "Life In The Manscape" 12" promo, and the samples are absent from all vinyls on "Patterns Of Behaviour" except for the Argentinian edition - which sounds like it may well have been mastered from a UK/European/Japanese CD.referencing Manscape (Cassette, Album) D 125.218
B2 is credited on the sleeve but does not appear on the cassette.referencing Manscape (LP, Album) INT 146.862
No edge coining- no "rim" to the disc. Is mine unique? Is this the same for all pressings (of this release)?- Edited 2 years ago

To those of you who have the CD: When playing this album, do yourself a favour and sequence it in this order. It's a much more enjoyable experience on multiple levels.- Edited 14 years ago

Being the Latest album of the ninities,Wire takes all the pregnancy of the "new wave eighties sound" and build up a very beautiful 5 stars fresh album with the right spleen dosage and the most known bitter and punk ironic Wire touch , being in contemporary time and in space equally.
Every song is a chapter leading to the "poet in the pit end": that's why Wire Lyrics are really fitty on here:it is like nichilism in front of a wall, with sightings in it: "Manscape the MAN landscape-escape " and the escape from the human being state.
Then we must say that the Long Playing version of this fantastic moody album contains a shortener edit version of last track "Hung your lights in the trees/a craftman's touch".
But buy the cd too because the full track is awesome, a Wire masterpiece art poetology with Lewis and Colin split voices singing.
Very indicated for the rainy cold afternoon days and or the early morning hot cold hours music call.Even for a start in the evening dupees.
Add a fresh english breakfast cup of tea to fully enjoy the cheek.
siete dei culoni voialtri a fare un rating 2/5 e 3/5 !
