referencing Joe Preston (CD, ) BR34-2
Need a copy of this one (to complete the trilogy).
I can offer in trade 1989's "Ozma" cassette tape..referencing Joe Preston (CD, ) BR34-2
Joe is the common denominator on the history of doom, drone, and sludge. Extra-Capsular Extraction, this record, and Lysol are foundational for doom's popularization.
Earth and the Melvins are already lauded for laying the ground work for these genres. But every doom band that now enjoys any level of success are also standing on Joe's shoulders. He deserves a tremendous amount of respect for making records like this amidst the musical landscape of 1992. No prior Melvins record was this brave.referencing Joe Preston (12", 33 ⅓ RPM, 45 RPM, EP) BR34-1
Looking for a poster, if anyone wants to part with one please PM me.referencing Joe Preston (12", 33 ⅓ RPM, 45 RPM, EP) BR34-1
'Hands First Flower' is absolutely top drawer doom sludge magic. If you're a fan of 'Lysol' era Melvins, this is the way to go.- The posters are not the same size or dimensions as the originals. I wish I'd known this before selling my originals. It sounds fantastic and the rest of the packaging original.
- Side A = meh
Side B Hands First Flower = Amazing. Possibly my favourite track on any Melvins album ever.
