Slum Village – Fantastic, Vol. 2

My version with EXACT runouts NMG5763LP-A NRP sounds absolutely great, compared to the unofficial Interscope version. Well divided tracks, warm and well balanced master and mix, super clean in general. Check the runouts and grab this version for sure you won't be disappointed.

I was able to compare this version with the 2015 RP NMG5763LP NRP version, found this one with great sound quality, punchier kicks and well balanced tracks overall with deep wide feeling. Some tracks are sequentially interrupted, in a way you can actually hear a half of a second of the previous track at the very beginning of the following track. The We Be Dem version is a jiggy, more club type beat version, Raise It Up and Thelonious not included, outro is separated here by a silent groove from Go Ladies, opposite to other versions where it's part of the track similar to the other interludes found throughout some tracks on the album.

Still doesn't feel like a pro release, but it actually sounds 5% better imo than the one I compared, still super amazed by the great quality of the RP which sounds insane and I believe is worth buying for it's quality and the Thelonious track.

Tiny bit of warp on mine but does not change the sound. It’s a great swirl color and sounds nice and crispy.

Nice, clean sound with good bottom end. Agree that this should've gotten a gatefold treatment.

Hell yeah what a gem. This sounds nicely balanced with some punchy lows. Jay Dee went off on his production. This is my favorite of his works. Rip dilla.

One of the top 5 WORST pressing ive ever bought. Both LPs warped beyond playability yet both feature extensive non fill/stitching defects, both come in those shady rounded cornered paper only Rainbo/URP style inners which further spoil what was already a record/s pressed with zero care and attention.... its not hard to do right if the tools are there and the TIME is taken to do it properly!!

A total sh1t shower of the highest order i wont be trying a replacement because the og CD only seals the fate by sounding alot better anyway

Hard to believe that this came out in 98' these days. Far ahead of it's time!

I hated how this record looked on pictures and on the mock up, but since I'm a huge fan of the album and it was missing in my collection I bought it on RSD, the record looks amazing in real life, sound is also really good, a bit quiet but nothing to worry about

My god I have to say that this is a beautiful looking record. I'm usually not big on colored vinyl and such, but this looks ridiculously good. Sound quality is solid, no complaints. The mix is warm, slightly on the quiet side but with minimal noise, I can't really complain. Glad to finally have this in my collection.
