All releases in this master have the same 20 tracks, in the same order.
All are EMI budget releases, released through imprints like Disky and EMI Gold.
Notable is that the all tracks from the first two Wilde albums are included, except the single version of "Cambodia" - which appears to be a mistake.
The Disky 2-CD compilation 'Collection' includes the track list of this CD on CD#1 and combines it with the track list of 'More Of The Best' on CD2. This 2-CD still manages to omit the single version of "Cambodia". The omission is corrected on yet another Disky 2-CD compilation 'Original Gold'. The track list is basically the same as on 'Collection' except the last four tracks on CD1 are replaced with the single version of "Cambodia".

This is a strange "best of" Compilation, as it misses many essential tracks. You Keep Me Hangin' On - Missing; Cambodia - Missing; You Came - Missing. And I honestly doubt that someone would consider an instrumental like "Cambodia - Reprise" a hit. "The Singles Collection 1981-1993" would be a much better starting point to get into the music of Kim Wilde.
Edited 20 years agoReally - this is hardly what one would call a real "Greatest Hits" album, considering that it was released in 1996!
This collection might include her biggest singles from the 1981/82 period ("Kids In America", "Chequered Love", "Water On Glass", and "View From A Bridge") as well as some utterly pointless instrumental version of "Cambodia" (surely my personal favourite), but that's about it: the rest is filler material that is befitting of an album by a developing artist, not a Greatest Hits compilation... it completely fails to include any of her more recent output.
No, this is a sorry excuse... I found this in the bargain bin at a hypermarket, and that's where it was condemned to right from the day that some bright and horny spark decided Kim would look good on the cover of a Disky CD.
