I'd love to know what the source was for the Kill City tracks. They sound much more raw — but less muffled — than my '80s German copy. "Johanna" has the sax on it, but "Kill City" seems to be much more guitar-forward, like James' 2010 remaster.
Of course, the pre-Raw Power 1972 tracks on Side 1 are excellent. They may be demos, but they were punk before punk.referencing I Got A Right (LP) E1019
Wow! This is just unbelievable. What a great rock’n’roll album. Fantastic songs. Great sound too.- mix of fantastic stooges demos from raw power era, and versions of songs from kill city. schizophrenic in feel due to the varied sessions, but the songs are excellent and a good comp for someone w/o a lot of the other records with this material.

It's so bad its good, or at least he's good on the eyes and who gives a rats as about the production value, and its a great song. Guess that's how it was done back then. At least we have him archived that long ago.referencing I Got A Right (LP) E1019
The cover pictured here has an edited backside. On lower right corner is a note saying "No unauthorized duplications, kids.
Home taping caused AIDS"
