Criminally under-appreciated album from the genre shifting Kosheen. A true mix of darkness and light, heaviness and ethereal drift. Very well produced low end that hits in all the right places. Somehow none of the gems on this record charted as a single and that's a shame for this is truly glorious beauty.referencing Independence (CD, Album) 636276-2
I dont do this very often. It is only when I feel I must. This album is epic. I can not understand how and why they arent on a label being advertised all over the place. i dont mind having the secret BUT it shouldnt be the case. Hopefully they are grabbed up again or people relise how good this album is. What I love about this album is the fusion of all there sounds they have done previously and brought something out which is underground but chartable at the same time. For me every track is good in its own little way but 'spies' to me is fantastic. i can play it again and again. Kosheen - you are on to something here. keep it going!!
