A seriously under-rated MF Doom album, beautifully packaged and sounding fantastic. Got it cheap from Bleep.com and very happy with this purchase :)

I have this version but only have DAMONT appearing on sides B and D, which is the same as the gatefold original press. Anyone else got the same? I'm guessing it's two variants of the same press.
Sounds great. A bit disappointed it wasn’t a gatefold, but honestly it’s whatever, especially since it’s really thick. Definitely pick it up if you got the chance
Edited 9 months agoI remember contributing to Beatdelete over a decade ago to repress this album which was essentially a crowd funding website way to repress an album. The thought of doing that almost seems laughable now given the explosion of the market for vinyl reissues, for certain artists at least. There’s no shortage of labels champing at the bit to repress any DOOM albums that they can get their hand on these days. I’m certainly happy that I contributed and got my record though, it’s a solid pressing and of course a great album.
Im pretty sure that it is like this on all versions but; my version has this nice bamboo feeling cover (same for the 7”)
Can anybody speak to how this pressing compares to the OG?
