Notes
The second album from Little Richard's Modern sessions. Recorded at the Domino Club, Atlanta, in December 1965 and maybe later, and at Sun Studio, Memphis circa Spring 1966. Contrary to first album (MMLP-1000, MST 100), no overdubbed audience here.
"Baby What You Want Me To Do" is a duo with unknown female vocalist.
"Groovy Little Suzy" appears to be the original Vee Jay recording.

Groovy little Suzy is a long version of the tune released in 1964.
The spring , 1966 date probably is an overdubbing , or post- production , date.
Most likely , all the material , except groovy , comes from 1 December 1965 at the Domino in Atlanta, Georgia ; and, the new Sun Studios , in Memphis , Tennessee , 1 January 1966. - Richard material from 1964 (long version of groovy little Suzy ), 1965 (live ), and interesting new Rock and Blues .
Some poor mixing but worth buying . - Edited 8 years agoI would have loved to have this groovy , technically challenged 8 track at the time . We get the real Little Richard , rich and raw, funky blues and '60s Rock . The company left some tantalizing titles in the vault and settled on 2-3 curiosities , but album versions of I'm Back, baby don't you want a man like me and holy mackerel ; long version of vee jay Groovy Little Suzy ( cowritten by Harry Nilsson in 1963-4) are true to the album Title.
