- Edited one month agoThis does indeed look “ mighty fine” and it even sounds finer! Clean, flat and silent, excellent sound, one of the finest examples of early grunge, a little Sabbath some Stooges, Blue Cheer and a raw perfectly underproduced sound … turn this up to 11 and enjoy the ride!

Still sounds fantastic today, really good press too; fully dynamic, the drums especially sound amazing.- This one looks great and sounds amazing. The ultimate Grunge album and a must have.
- So I scanned the barcode of the 35th Anniversary edition of this, which is the pink blue translucent swirl……and this is the entry that came up. This really sounds great though. Nice and quiet and loud!

When I hear "grunge music", this is the album that I immediately think of. A must-have for any grunge lover.

Mine was an EBay item listed as Re-released in 2013, but is this pressing and mine is black, with poster and download voucher. Sounds pretty decent from the get go.- The difference in audio quality between the original pressing and the 2009 Sub Pop reissue is enormous. The original blows the reissue out of the water. I find the reissue very compressed and flat, really detracts from the music. The original is open and sounds great. Significantly changes my enjoyment of the album.
