    • This slaps! Actually now I hear everything like it's underwater. Should I be worried?

This compilation bangs so hard. With all of the rereleases on clone this collection to me is truest to the Detroit spirit - drexciya at their peak. Raw, militant and funky as hell.

I only have CD 2 of this; should anyone be willing to sell CD 1 and/or the case, hit me up. Thanks!

Redd Rhythms (Bonus Beat) = Electro Bass Drive-by = Wallshaker = Stripped Down Brutal Bass!! Worth the cost of the entire release (and you also get "You Don't Know", "Wavejumper", "Bubble Metropolis", "Living On The Edge Instr"). RIP James Stinson & much continued success to Gerald Donald!!

Unlike later work of Drexciya this album contains mostly hardkicking dancefloor killer beats alongside sick aquatic electronic elements to create amazing electro. Tracks like Living On The Edge and Aquabon contain great elements of funk. They are two of my favorites on this record. Other tracks like Bubble Metropolis and Wavejumper can also be seen as classics. Wavejumper's ongoing rhythm, the dark vocal and dangerous electronics create this amazing track.

I was lucky to get myself a sealed copy of the original pressing through Discogs. It is worth every penny I can tell you. Get this peace of electro history if you can!

These guys were truly in a league of their own in terms of creating electro that sounded like it had been beamed straight from outer space. Absolutely pearless with their amazingly futuristic vision and roboticly funkatastic rhythms. This disc is a very worthy introduction and probably a much more ecomnomic solution if your after their earlier stuff since the prices for their vinyle releases have sky-rocketed since the death of one of the founding members. A true masterpiece!
