Just like all other Netwerk cassettes from that era the tape stuck, deck wont play it at all. Garbage Netwerk releases. Do not buy it!referencing Semantic Spaces (CD, Album) W2-30092
Why hasn't this been released on 8-track yet? I want to hear it in my car.referencing Semantic Spaces (CD, Album) W2-30092
It's a crime this was never issued on vinyl. If there's ever a case for a record store day release, this is it! Incredible, gorgeous LP that captures the '90s vibe of Vancouver's rainy rave scene perfectly, in a way that spoke to people around the planet.referencing Semantic Spaces (CD, Album) W2-30092
Please release this in vinyl! I have been wanting to have this.- Edited 2 years ago

Vinyl this please. Better yet, how about releasing a vinyl box set containing Semantic Spaces, Karma, Poem, Chimera and Nuages Du Monde. I would spend 200 for something like that. And so would many others I'm sure. referencing Semantic Spaces (CD, Album) W2-30092
WHERE IS THE VINYL RELEASE OF THIS LEGENDARY GENRE DEFYING RECORD!!

"This one's strictly for soundtracking New Age apothecaries and middle aged yoga sessions."
That's some funny sh*t right there. I love FLA and the early albums from Delerium were moody and atmospheric. But this just doesn't connect. It's poppy and cheesy vocals make for some embarrassing listening. The mish mash of styles constructed in such a haphazard fashion makes it seem like it's just taking from other artists. Makes it hard to get through. I expect more from the these iconic synth programmers.
Bright spot? Metamorphosis and Sensorium (almost Vangelis-esque) shows some of the dark and layered synth programming they're known for. referencing Semantic Spaces (CD, Album) W2-30092
STILL no vinyl on this? Karma and Poem get vinyl re-issues, but not this? Criminal.referencing Semantic Spaces (CD, Album) 0 06700 30092 2 5
this is the fourth copy of this album i have owned. it is one of the best-produced ambient-industrial albums ever. Mr Leeb, Mr Peterson, Ms Thirsk all combine in one Glorious Dance Mass...
i challenge anyone to listen without being transported.referencing Semantic Spaces (CD, Album) W2-30092
A highly derivative and second-rate ambient dub excursion, filled with your standard early-90s cut 'n paste combination of sampled breakbeat + dub bass + vaguely "ethnic" chanting. What's particularly galling is the fairly blatant sampling of other, far better records from the same period. For example, Consensual Worlds borrows liberally from The Orb's Blue Room and Towers Of Dub, both from UFOrb, and Resurrection features a whole-sale rip of the break from The FSOL's Papua New Guinea. That's exactly how this album sounds: a series of lazy re-hashes of iconic records, content to repeat what had already been done several years earlier.
If you want to hear the same thing done much better, check out early FSOL, Orb, Young American Primitive, William Orbit and Banco De Gaia first. This one's strictly for soundtracking New Age apothecaries and middle aged yoga sessions.
