Discovered this album 10/2021. I've known the name "Charlie Peacock" from seeing it over the years in stores but have never really concentrated on any of his albums before now (sadly). Found this "Everything That's On My Mind" CD at a music store along with West Coast album Vol 1 & 3 (haven't listened to yet). This is an album for a Thinking Man, not your typical rock pop album meant to simply tickle your ears. The lyrics should take center stage while the musicianship is the icing on the cake. I didn't know much about the artist before, but listening to the words I realized this album lives up to its title and seems to be very personal to him. We gratefully benefit from a glimpse of his humanity and uppringing in a wonderful artistic form of communication. I was certainly convicted at times and refreshed by his honesty as he painted the message of "Nothing will ever take the place of the peace of God" on the canvas of his song selections. Fantastic.

Honorable mentions are "Inside Out Upside Down", "Climb A Tree", "My Father's Crown" (wow), & "Monkeys At The Zoo". Listen to it. And, then clear your mind and listen again. Your heart will be rewarded.

Also, I enjoyed the artist interview on track 12 that completely rose the respect level and fan following for Charlie Peacock. Can't wait to add more of his music to my collection.

Finally, checked out his website https://charliepeacockvisualartist.com/ and discovered he's an accomplished painter. I'll have to get the Smell of Hope coffee mug soon.
