Devo – Freedom Of Choice

Just a phenomenal pressing, the kind that makes you forget you're listening to vinyl and all you hear is the MUSIC. Precisely what you want for Devo's best album. There is no beating Japanese records.

This might be a repress...Wb used those multiple LB greyscale logos all over the labels in early-mid 80's (All of my Prince represses have those labels).

Fantastic pressing! Super quiet vinyl, and loads of detail. Like most Japanese pressings, the bass won't knock your socks off, but it was definitely adequate to my ears. Very, very happy with my copy!

I can't believe it's been 40 years since this records release. Drifting from punk into new wave. It was pretty cool living it as a teenager

Compared to other commenters, my copy is very flat and sounds nice. Was a bit dirty, but nothing that a good clean couldn’t fix.

Hole is off center, which makes everything after the 3rd track on each side sound draggy and terrible.

Does anyone know if this copy ever had an inner sleeve? Any help will be appreciated, thanks.

I bought this in a market and I have the same issue that other's. The press is at the wrong speed.

Not the most dynamic sound. It’s okay if you don’t have a better version to play.

Sound quality is okay, maybe a tad compressed, but not enough to be considered "muddy" I've never heard an original pressing, so I doubt this is a legit comparison.

Unlike others, my copy is flat as a pancake and sounds perfect...

...but UNFORTUNATLEY, my copy was so caked with dust and static from the sleeve that it was almost impossible to clean. I was able to get it clean enough to listen to, but it still skipped on the first few seconds of "Girl U Want".

So my verdict is proceed with record cleaner in hand. Trust me, you'll thank me later!
