Devo – New Traditionalists

The pressing sounds wonderful. Great separation and dynamics. Wide soundstage, punchy drums.

Only good things to say about this album and press. I didn't know I liked this album so much until i listened to it on vinyl.

I think the songs on this one are more well known now, now that so much time has passed. A few of the songs on this one have appeared in movies and commercials. Wasn't a big album for Devo, initially. The bass on this one, well, on my copy any way, it's amazing. Very well produced and fun album.

Not one of their most famous records, but still supremely enjoyable, especially "Through Being Cool" and "Beautiful World" with its twisty closing. Definitely recommended.

My copy matches this release exactly, except that it seems never to have included the poster...
The sticker is also round, but blue, with white text saying:

If seeking to buy this (both the LP & the 7"), make sure you ask the seller if it is indeed the both for sale, not just the 7", nor just the LP without the 7". The 7" single, although released with this LP, is widely available separately as many copies exist alone in thrift stores and with secondhand sellers, separated from each other.

Whats the best sounding version to get for the budget minded? Hearing conflicting opinions on the 2010 remaster and the earlier CD releases from the 90s are a bit pricey.

Incredible reissue. Sounds as original. 10 for Warner. A must have undoubtedly.

Why on grey vinyl? Why not a color more in line with the artwork, like navy blue?
Or how about just a standard black release?
