Musical content is outstanding, but I agree there is nothing 'super deluxe' about extremely tight cardboard slots scratching the discs - in my case, half of the set. 2 of them fell out during the transport - even worse, 3 of the most generously scratched CDs kept occasionally skipping and ultimately freezing on the same track on every player I tried, even after I thoroughly cleaned them a number of times. Absolutely terrible packaging.
Edited 25 days agoGuys, DO NOT pay the scalper prices for this. The same thing happened with the UFO Strangers box set; it sold out, prices went up like crazy, but eventually they repressed it. Make it known that there's still demand and there will be a repress. I got my copy of this AFTER Amazon restocked them.
Again, don't give these scalpers any of your money!
As for the actual set, it's great BUT for the love of God, start putting the CDs in their own sleeves instead of this book format.
Simply The Best Live Album By Anyone Ever! Finally released in all its glory all the shows used to make the final album. Finally the rumors about the final album put to bed! For me this Box set is an extra special treat as I was at The Seneca College Field house show! That show for me was worth the price of this box alone! Blessed to own this Rock Masterpiece 👍🏻- Edited one month agoMy copy of this only says "MADE IN W. GERMANY" at bottom of label - NO reference to POLYGRAM.

The boxset is almost sold out a few days after release. Lizzy fans are still out there! L&D has always been my favorite live album, by listening to the different shows, it shows again how talented and even disciplined the band was on stage. I can’t imagine the amount of work for the band to reach that perfection. A lot of new details to discover, on these releases. Great stuff. Thin Lizzy music was made to be played live!
