Reviews
- Edited 3 years ago1994 release by Macro and Relentless Agony is an appropriate name. The material on this tape hardly lets up and is an exercise in harshness, however there is more variety than the title suggests.
I think you can hear the group expanding their sound even more than on their first couple of releases. There is still a focus on harshness and the building of blown out and forceful frequencies. However, the underbelly of sounds are more diverse and we hear introductions to a wider use of samples, improvised electronics, and psychedelic elements. Rodger and Joe find new ways to add more detail and variety to the eye of the storm.
A very solid tape in the evolution of the Macronympha sound!
