No UFO’s is a significant track considering coming out of 1985. The first Techno song to use the TR-909 for which future techno songs uses of course, This track is badass and I recommend buying it and keeping it in your collection. Thanks Juan Atkins for this masterpiece.

Not just a reissue, but also a remaster. No complaints here - al that 808 electro goodness is delivered in clean, punchy and precise fashion. I'm glad I could finally add this Metroplex classic to my collection.

No UFOs is still my favourite all time Detroit Techno track to this day. An incredible piece of music like no other. Respect to Juan Atkins.

Point taken CrisBiskitz, still one star just doesn't make sense. The moodymann rmx is decent if nothing special and the Luciano a very good take on a seminal track, not an easy task. And of course you get both mixes of no UFO's. Having said all that, leaving the B side blank is a bit of a cheap shot, unless there is some good reason for doing so that people are unaware of.

I thought my ears would scream "sacrilege" but I'm pleasantly suprised by these remixes.....

Can someone confirm if the white label with blue and black text containing runout: AR-7034 AS ARCHER - is this an original 1st pressing? Thanks.

Although No UFO's is a seminal, early techno classic. I do still love it, promise. There's something about the chord progression and minor keys of Future which always enticed me more than the main track. Even Juan's deadpan yet vigorously expressive vocal delivery explaining the state of technology and futurism sounded and felt captivating. I'm pretty certain its similarities with his earlier Cybotron electro tracks I was already accustomed to probably did influence my preference.

The very first time I came across this record was when my EX brother-in-law brought back a bunch of house and techno with his usual 80s R&B/Jazz-Funk/Rare Groove/Soul/Disco purchases. He wasn't really into House, Techno or Electro. Was only marginally into Hip Hop when pushed. He only brought back these types of tunes because he wanted to test the waters in a DJing environment and to try and get a feel of current UK trends. So when he offered to gift me a couple of copies, I eagerly grabbed them with both hands!
