Very abstract instrumental tracks --- or better said --- soundscapes: fascinating. I think this one is better to listen from CD because then you can listen in one go and because the tracks are so abstract and sterile, it more suits the clinical nature of the CD media.

From the aesthetic design, studio mixing and sound immersion experience point of view, this is one of the most important albums of the 21st century.

A really good production, its dark and above all its a good sci-fi soundtrack, the selection of sounds are very good. My favorite tracks are "polar coordinates" and "Facial vectors"

This is by far the most experimental release from the hands of Gerald Donald. His earlier releases under this Der Zyklus monniker are far from experimental, they are mostly plain, some times deep, dancefloor electro tracks.

This Biometry album goes far beyond standard electro. It's more abstract and experimental compared too his earlier works. Since the death of his partner in crime, James Stinson, he seems to explore this side of electronic music. The next Donald album; Quantum Transposition (Arpanet/Rephlex/2005) sounds alot like this album, but in a less experimental way. Biometry is nothing to hear on a dancefloor. Listen to it by yourself with your eyes closed, that is the perfect way to feel this kind of music. A couple of the tracks contain very well placed vocals, they are very interesting to listen to indeed.

My favorite tracks on this album would have to be: B3 Biometric Systems and D3 4000 Irises (2000) Persons Max.

A fairly unique gem to keep close at hand. One of those few albums that flow from start to finish flawlessly without losing power. A lot of variety between single tracks but the whole picture very much makes sense. No point in describing the sound, you'll have your own vision of it when you hear it. The delay effect here, or rather the resonance is raped in every which way possible, and the results are great, although not really redefining anything. Really nice compilation of experimental tunes.

Amazing chirping microrhythms of time squeezed out slowly from an electronic blue lemon tang bionic paranoia blossom. A really forward thinking and precise album . . . some really deep moods and fresh sounds wrap around my inner ear bones and echo off my skull chambers . . . Sweet accomplishment. 5/5
