This third Xymox album is excellent and, thanks also to the two previous albums, will make the band remembered as among the most important of the darkwave musical genre.

Twist of Shadows is one of my guilty pleasures. Classic late 80s synthpop with a slightly darker tinge than the mainstream stuff of the time. Up until a few days ago I only ever had a digital copy of it and would enjoy it from time to time. But when I found this vinyl reissue it really rekindled my love for this album and brought me waaaaay back in time to the mid 90s when I heard it for the first time.

As already said, the vinyl received the full treatment here with an excellent pressing on really beautiful wax, a nice gatefold jacket with lyrics, poly inner sleeve, and a reusable slipcover. I was honestly a little surprised it got this much love, but thanks to those who made this happen. Definitely a must have for any Xymox/CoX fans!

I couldn't agree more with the comments below, I was ecstatic to see this on the new release wall at my local vinyl store. Absolutely a favorite album for me, sound is very crisp--I agree much better than the original release. I'm hoping that the other LPs will be released on vinyl at some point in the future! :)

I'll echo the sentiments below--very impressed. Protective outer sleeve, poly-lined inner, beautiful colored vinyl AND sounds really good. Plays with depth & separation, and a dead quiet backdrop. This reissue is a winner.

This pressing easily bests my original US lp. Get it before they run out!

Had it on cassette from original release. Wanted it on CD but has been a very hard find. Was glad to finally track down a copy. Yes, their sound changed with this release and may have been off putting to a lot of the die hard fans but I rank this album as one of their best.

This is an absolute gorgeous remaster of one of my favorite albums. Very very impressed

Nice mastering done by Scott, EQ is toned down a bit compared to the old US 1989 LP/CD release. Dynamics intact, no digital brick and re-level for the format.
Manufacture wise- clean, flat and silent no issues with sibilance. Possibly due to the formula used there is some outro surface noise on a few tunes. Not as bad as GZ cuts thank God, lol
