I've had my copy for several years now but wanted to chime in on how mine sounds. From the time I bought it there's quite a bit of staticky noise on all sides and each side suffers from inner groove distortion. Both discs are cleaned each time I listen to it. Other than that, it sounds fantastic. Discs are completely flat.

Is the sticker on the shrinkwrap one of those barcode stickers placed on the shrink over the barcode printed on the sleeve? And is the sleeve otherwise identical to other pressings? (Trying to figure out how I'd go about identifying this pressing from looking at a new copy in a store.)

*Edit: after posting this question I purchased a copy of the LP from a retailer in Europe and got a copy with the LvC cut in the runouts that didn't have a stickered barcode at all, just the original printed barcode on the back cover.

Is this pressing even real? It looks shady as I don't think anybody would sell or give away a record in that hideous of a sleeve. Also, it's not even the full album - just the first LP. This raises a few red flags for me...

This cut is vastly superior to the original cut done by Ray Janos at Sterling Sound and is the one to get if you like this record. I wish they would recut High Violet, as that sounds dreadful on vinyl.

OK, either there are variants in the runout or typos/mistakes in the posted identifiers. Specifically there is an extra (1) in the 149217 number and the sides are not stamped /A, /B, /A, /B. Would love for confirmation for anyone that has this pressing.

I bought this album about two years ago from a local shop. I Should Live in Salt skips but progressively less throughout the song and the rest of the record was fine. After looking at reviews here I decided not to exchange. One of my absolute favorite albums!

I just received this album and it is indeed brilliant, and it sounds wonderful, but for some crazy reason the same songs are on sides 3 and 4. I'm missing Graceless, Slipped, and I Need My Girl entirely. Anybody else have this issue?
