As with all these boots there will always be a bad 🍎 but mine was fantastic, sound quality was far better then the pic disc, I think some just like complaining about everything!!

I have this boot on white vinyl (rollinrecs) and it sounds like GARBAGE. It literally sounds like one of the worst MP3's youv'e ever heard. I wrote the site and they wouldn't respond, I think sometimes they get items they don't even test. Horrible sounding press.

Mine turned up, nice gatefold and a great pressing, no surface noise, sounds excellent, also a lit of people seem to be getting translucent green not white, mine is definately white

Found this just strolling through a local shop. I was hesitant to pay the pretty penny for it but it was well worth it in the end. Played my Green copy on two different needles. Sounded surprisingly fantastic. Great audio quality at all ranges in my opinion!

My copy is on translucent green, otherwise same info. as this white vinyl version. Haven’t spun it yet, but everything looks fantastic. Update to follow.

Who told you guys there was an insert? None of the photos I've seen don't show one. Just nice black plastic lined sleeves. The gatefold gives all the info you'll need. Most of the boots I've bought from this website (rollinrecs.com) for those of you don't know have been more than adequate, some better than others. Most of the time the volume needs to be turned up a bit and there's some background noise with the colored vinyl but this copy surely sounds better than the picture disc for God's sake. The glossy gatefold looks professionally done too. Honestly you'd never know this one's a bootleg.

I purchased this years ago and have to say, in general avoid picture discs. AIC are a fav band, so purchased at time of release and have since stored it away with the rest of collection. Recently pulled it out, gave it a solid vacuum clean with the Pro-Ject VCS. Actually sounds brilliant. I noticed the runout on the US seems to differ from the Europe release (potentially reason for bad reviews on that one?). This one has RJ STERLING in the deadwax. Always a fan of Ray Janos cuts and this is no exception. It's not 100% dead quiet, but only noticeable between tracks and the very occasional quiet section of a song. Definitely have new black vinyl MUCH noisier than this. Can recommend!

The HDTracks version of this album is the best sounding IMO, until a regular vinyl release happens. There’s still slight compression but nowhere near iTunes/CD versions.
