Sounds great; probably their most well-produced LP (by The Cars front man Ric Ocasek) & one of my favorites from Mr. Pollard and the Boys...

Although I have to say -- it doesn't sound like $100...! How bout an affordable re-release??

I was very, VERY hesitant to invest in this pressing... even though I was buying it at the time of it's release (and still reasonably priced), I felt burned by that shitty, horrid blue-vinyl repress of ISOLATION DRILLS. Seriously, that I.D. pressing was an abomination and I was only too happy to sell it to another GBV fan, even after honestly warning them that the audio sounded too hot, compressed and clippy... just awful.
BUT ANYWAYS I caved-in and bought this orange-vinyl re-issue, and thank goodness... IT'S WONDERFUL!
The audio is rich and clear, with deep soft bass complimenting the bright sweet highs. Every issue that I had encountered with the I.DRILLS pressing was nowhere to be found here. It looks great, it sounds *amazing*, the cover-art and printed-inner seem 100% faithful to the original pressing....
If - like me - you are a fan of this incredibly catchy gem of an album, then I highly recommend this pressing!

Is there a repress of this on black vinyl? My Matrix matches but I don't have the printed inner sleeve and I doubt it's a 1999 copy. But it's not the orange repress. Any help appreciated.
