Notes
All Things Must Pass is a triple album by George Harrison. Recorded and released in 1970, the album was Harrison's first solo work since the break-up of The Beatles in April that year. The original vinyl release featured two LPs of rock songs as well as Apple Jam, a third disc of informal jams. Often credited as rock's first triple album, it was in fact the first by a single act, the multi-artist Woodstock live set having preceded it by six months.
In regards to the album's size, Harrison stated: "I didn't have many tunes on Beatles records, so doing an album like All Things Must Pass was like going to the bathroom and letting it out.
The album was critically acclaimed and, with long stays at number 1 in both the US and the UK, commercially successful. It was certified 6x platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America in 2001.
On the song "Awaiting On You All", after the third verse's "... Someone's thinking that we're all green", Harrison sings the following lines to end the track:
"And while the Pope owns fifty one percent of General Motors
And the stock exchange is the only thing he's qualified to quote us
The Lord is awaiting on you all to awaken and see
By chanting the names of the Lord and you'll be free".
The recording then ends with an instrumental close. On the inner sleeve printed lyrics, however, the "Pope" lyrics are omitted, and the lines are misquoted thus:
"... Someone's thinking that we're all green
By chanting the names of the Lord and you'll be free
The Lord is awaiting on you all to awaken and see
Chanting the names of the Lord and you'll be free
The Lord is awaiting on you all to awaken and see".

This is a Classic, George puts it all out there after the Beatles Breakup. Some genuine Diamonds on this album.- Um disco que transita entre o profundo e o pop, entre o rock e muitas outras sonoridades que enriquecem esse trabalho que mostra toda a capacidade musical desse Beatle, e faz justiça ao legado que ele deixou para a banda e para a música. Um disco essencial.

A classic for all time. Interesting it's not a box set but tri-fold. I have not seen any listed anywhere else. - i have version where record 1 has orange Capitol labels and records 2 & 3 has Capitol's purple label. anyone else has this?
- Box set for rich people with spare bedrooms for their toys. I have 2500 vinyls in a one bedroom . Unfortunately this doesn’t fit.
- Mine is mono, I'm confirming this listening to it now.
I believe this is not a very rare one. This album had sold very well here in Brazil. referencing All Things Must Pass (3×LP, Album, Reissue, Remastered, Stereo, 180g, Box Set, ) STCH 639
Comparing the 2017 180g GH Estate issue pressed in the EU against UK and Autralian 1st press on Apple. Listened via high end system and headphones. Both the UK and Oz pressing are about identical in audio presence indicating both were from same master stamper. The 2017 180g has significantly lower audio output and less "presence" then that of the original pressings and is not a great listen when "comparing". The packaging on the 180g is fabulous, the vinyl is flat and quiet so a reasonable option if you don't have an original but don't bother if you already own the originals!- Edited 3 months ago

I took me a while to find an affordable copy, but I'm very glad I did. After only becoming familiar with this album via Spotify and the Scorcese doc the vinyl is a wonderful upgrade. As you'd expect, it's far more dynamic and my pressing is flat and quiet. I also appreciate the box not being too vast to fit in with normal records. Good one 👍
(Ortofon Blue on a Project Genie if anyone's interested). - 1988 was not an LP buying time, except for audiophiles. This album was manufactured in the US by Capitol through its various call them partners. I bought this specific version of this and suspect, it sounds wonderful, and consider the year, that when it was cut, the basis for it was a completely analog chain. And since this was in essence EMI - Capitol in the US - the Beatles label - I think it was a source that was fairly top notch and related to the 1970 release. To repeat, this particular version of this incredible and historic album sounds quite wonderful though unsurprisingly, some tracks are an improvement over others. In short, this particular version of the album is worth seeking out. Note that the pressings are pretty light in weight. I assume to save money. Again, 1988 equals limited market. The point is, do pay attention to VTA. It's sonically quite relevant. As I listen to the album, I cannot ignore the artist's death at such a very young age, especially upon listening to My Sweet Lord which explicitly references Indian mysticism - what Wikipedia terms Harrison's "Hindu-aligned spirituality." But this was high school for me. The album's impact everywhere was just stunning. This reissue really honors the achievement by being so sonically accomplished.
