Disappointing follow up to their great debut album. The two lead of singles "Forbidden City" and "For You" are forgettable Brit Pop, while "Until The End Of Time" and "If You've Got Love" are dated italo house piano "stormers", that sounds like they had been in the can since '91."Dark Angel" is a decent song, but likewise the arrangement of excessive italo pianos and hoover riff is like it is '91 all over again, five years too late. "Out Of My League" is one of few tracks that rise above the mediocre on this lackluster album, but it wasn't even chosen as a single. Album at 60 minutes is far too long, should have been trimmed down to 40 minutes, to get rid of b-side material.

My favourite album by Electronic, would love this to have a good quality vinyl reissue, especially like the closing track - time can tell.

Even though both sides are pretty long this sounds great to my ears! Sure it would be nice to have a reissue on double vinyl with gatefold cover...

Side 1 is over 30 minutes long &
side 2 is over 32 minutes long!

I didn't know what to expect when I got this album in a thrift store, as I was not at all familiar with the artist. I just had feeling in my gut to expect some sort of electronic/alternative rock a-la Radiohead or Depeche Mode.

Turns out it is a very 90-ish styled album, with styles ranging from late 80s pop, to early 90s acid rave and house, and even reminiscent of Depeche Mode, Urban Cookie Collective and M-People at some points. Surely nothing too exceptional or artistically innovative (you could even say that these styles were already considered retro in 1996, the year of release), but it's a pleasant listen throughout, and the variations in style are actually refreshing and sometimes surprising. Overall, what was a "blind purchase" turned out into a good addition for my collection. Definitively recommended to electronica aficionados.
