- Edited one year agoI wonder if this is a counterfeit/bootleg or some sort of official pressing with a mis-press?
I don't own an original copy so no clue if this is the case on those, but during the instrumental transition between "Heretic's Fork" and "Conditioned to Death" there is an audible sound of silence in the middle for a quick second before the last aforementioned song starts. I question this because I have a couple albums which use this instrumental transition technique between tracks but never had any with an audible sound of silence in them. I don't think its a skip on my part because both tracks start and end at the proper times, so maybe it's just a sort of thing on all pressings but if not then why does this pressing have it?
Regardless to that, this is a pretty good pressing. The paper sleeve which holds the record leaves a bit to be desired but nothing like swapping it in a plastic one to fix that issue. Insert is also a nice touch and seems to be on par with the original aside from matrix information, and the vinyl came clean too. Record also plays great with no issues (aside from the one mentioned above) and all in all this pressing seems to have great dynamics at least from what I can hear. I also bought this new for around $21 CAD on Amazon with enough luck apparently to not have the postal service play frisbee with it, so no seam-splitting or other damage on it.
Overall, not to shabby of a pressing all things considered. referencing Manifest Decimation (LP, Album) LORD175
The musicianship is there, but choosing to record it in a cave sucks all the energy out of the album and it’s borderline unlistenable to me, personally.- Edited one year agoDecent pressing of a killer album, black paper inner sleeve and 2 sided insert with printed lyrics, credits and band pic. Picked up for $24 on Amazon.com.au and aside from a seam split on the paper inner, absolutely no complaints at all. RIP Riley.
- Edited 2 years agoBought this LP recently, direct from Southern Lord. However, the matrix/runout on side A is 169152E1/B and there is no runout at all on side B. Sounds great, regardless.

Music and packaging is all great. The sound is less so. I compared it to my CD in Audacity and the vinyl's cut both looks and sounds a lot like the CD to me. It's alright but audiophiles should beware. referencing Manifest Decimation (LP, Album) LORD175
does anyone know pressing info for a transparent dark green version? i bought it from Headfirst! Records likely in 2013.referencing Manifest Decimation (LP, Album) LORD175
This is Power Trips first full length LP, prior to this release was the release of Power Trips questionably best material; Armageddon Blues in my opinion Manifest Decimation does not live up to par to Armageddon Blues. In my opinion the vocals in Manifest were not as loud or "powerful" as Armageddon. The instrumentals were classic Power Trip like always. Pounding drums, and fast, aggressive, guitars. Fantastic musicianship is not a surprise when it comes to these guys. My favorite track on the album is The Hammer of Doubt which was on another release of Power Trips but this song was redone and the production on the track was much better than the prior release. Overall the album was a very good release and made Power Trip much more popular in the scene of metal/hardcore.
