- Edited 5 months agoMediocre album overall, but it was the first record I bought (from a garage sale when I was a kid... only vinyl I had for a long time), so it has lots of nostalgia value. Also has better songs than Hot Butter's Popcorn album, including the original Jungle Juice.

A real gem, can't be 100% certain, but I'd swear "Popcorn" was just a remastered copy of the "Hot butter" single, and "Morning has broken" has the unmistakable arpeggio of Rick Wakeman but Cat Steven's vocals have been removed and overdubbed by a synth.referencing Go Moog! (LP) MFP 50071
Similar to Contour's "Moog Party Time" which came out the same year. Routine version of Popcorn (which is pretty damned close as you can get to the hit version by Hot Butter) mixed in with synth-led instrumental versions of the current hits of the day.- Edited 11 years ago

Another post "Switched on Bach" Moog-erizing album. This one better than most in that it chooses lesser-known tracks than the mega-hits of the day, though the choice of the already Moog-ed "Popcorn" is puzzling.
It doesn't seem to be pure synth, as some real instruments are heard, but it's still good addition for the collector of these kinds of albums.
"Samson And Delilah" and "Softly Whispering I Love You" are the highlights.
