- There's nothing better than a black metal band that creates amazingly dark atmosphere. If you are looking for a band that stays true to the black metal formula without being boring, look no further.
When it comes to the sound of this album, it's nearly perfect, the drums are distant and organic, the guitars are fuzzed but not over bearing and the vocals are mixed extremely well. The vocals are mesmerizing, they resemble what I dead person might sound like, if dead people could talk.
Not only is the music on this album dark, but the lyrics take the whole 'death worship' idea to another level. The lyrical themes are grim, very grim. They evoke emotions of hate, sadness, murder and suicide..
This is the kind of album that will lead you into the dark pits of devilry and possession, bring you back to reality and leave you thirsting for more.
