Industrial, field recording, electronic, lo-fi . . . despite the Buddhist rhetoric (or, we sincerely hope, because of it), Key Ransone always managed to bewilder and fascinate with unidentifiable sound sources, inconsistent treatments and strange stagey fields. Like Jeph Jerman's early output as Hands To, this is as accessible as noise gets, and worth revisiting nearly two decades on from its release.
