This is a compilation. It's the version of "The Evil One" you see everywhere but the original album of that name didn't have Two-Headed Dog (his big hit, it seems) and several other tracks, and...oh, by the way, the original album is actually a masterpiece, in one old toad's opinion anyway. Worth assembling the tracks in proper order and cranking that bad boy, first side one and then side two, even if you're just checking a digital copy, it's a proper album. As I've said elsewhere, I think that documentary did him a disservice, made him look like an idiot, which, if you listen, he most definitely wasn't. It was beautifully recorded, it sounds good in any format. Just an absolute gem, the original 1981 album. Sorry to gush, just love it. Over and out. 
Edited one month agoDusted this great set of LP's off for a spin... Mine is flat, no surface noise, and sounds freakin' great on my modest system... If you know of Roky & The Aliens, then you know, if you come across a copy...don't hesitate.

This sounds really, REALLY good. And all the bonus insert material is fantastic. LINTA knocked it outta the park with this one. I’d honestly call this the definitive version of Roky’s legendary album.
