The Police – Every Breath You Take (The Singles)

I’d second that this pressing sounds very good from beginning to end. The cover is as usual with Amiga as thin as toilet paper. Although my copy is in good nick all the same.

SOnido algo apagado, le falta más "libertad" a los agudos, pero está muy bien igual, recomendable.

This is an outstanding and unique pressing of this album. I love when a band goes back through their acclaimed discography and pick the absolute cream of the crop to include on a comp. album. And this is one that does not disappoint. From the big hits to the “b” sides, every song on this record sounds great. Articulate voicing of all instruments and very quiet. It’s a great pick up if you can find one in good condition!

This compilation was subsequently rendered obsolete by the more-complete and much better-sounding Greatest Hits.

That was The Police with 'De Do Do Do De Da Da Da’, their gibberish classic..

Maybe just this particular pressing, I find it bit too bright and thin sounding.

Great disc, but is it just me or do some of the songs (namely ELTSDIM) have the vocals a bit buried in the mix?

Song wise, excellent. Love the police so no issues there. Audio wise, comes across a bit thin on the bottom end and highs a bit harsh at times.

Beautiful album! Sounds so good. The only complaint I would have is the crappy version of Don’t Stand So Close To Me. Stewart Copelands drums are one of the signature sounds of a Police song! And this version is lacking that in a big way with the electronic drums. Really makes no sense. This version was Never a hit. But the original Was! And is Far better than this polished crap. This record would be Perfect with the original version instead. So Lonely is missing as well. Otherwise I love this record
