Sigue Sigue Sputnik – Flaunt It

Giorgio Moroder production a great sounding album on this Japanese import.

What vinyl versions have the adverts? Mine doesn't.

Gutted to say the least, I finally got a copy of the Vinyl and it's missing the adverts :-(

Mins is an Australia/NZ pressing. PCS7305 My CD has them on it, they were all part of the experience. Another guy below has a UK pressing without the advertisements also.

first of all i listened attentively to this deluxe edition and i have to say with absolute conviction that it sounds practically like the old cd editions it really doesn't have a nothing thing of remastered even if there was an improvement you can't hear it at all i repeat listened carefully i didn't find it no sound improvement !!!!!!!!!!! and a real disappointment because I was hoping for a clear improvement in sound but there is nothing, I repeat nothing of sound improvement !!!!!!! In fact, I sold the pair I bought with absolutely no regrets !!!!

Not a necessary entry but the album is much fun and the sound of this edition is excellent.

Found one of these sealed a couple years ago and being a kid of the 1980’s had to get it. Brings back so many memories of school dances and hanging out with friends listening to cassette tapes of all the great 80’s stuff. This pressing sounds really good!! Love the “untitled” fun things between the songs. Remember Love Missile F-1-11 in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off? Oh yeah…those were the days…

Four disc collection and it's missing BOTH single versions of 21st Century Boy?

Unacceptable!

Why didn’t they include the 7 inch of 21st Century Boy??

After all this Cherry Red once again fluff up the additional tracks. An ongoing problem with Cherry Red.
The 12" Magic Flute version of 'Sex Bomb Boogie' and the Dub Mix of 'Hack Attack' are STILL missing. And why put the later 2000 (poor) Westbam remix of 'Love Missile F1-11' on here at all? And why bunch all the F1-11 mixes together like this?! Makes for a tiring listening experience. Not to mention the missing original advertisements on the original album (perhaps a licensing issue from the original companies involved?) and the poor packaging...
Plus the German Remix of '20th Century Boy' fades out, rather than abruptly ending as did the original; and the Dance Mix is longer than the original (but a lot better for it). Why the difference? AND we're missing 'Teenage Thunder (Sputstyle)' and 'Rockit Miss USA (Death Wish IV)'. The uninteresting 'From The Gutter To The Stars' and the Westbam remix should both have been dropped in preference for these tracks.
Oh, and the replaced samples versions are annoying. IMO stick with the original sample versions.
For the packaging an old school 'fatbox' jewel case or at least a clam shell box would have been far superior.
