Just received my amber/glow split version. Looks amazing but when I play it I can actually hear an audible difference when the needle goes across the glow half versus the amber half. Which makes it pretty much terrible to listen to. Anyone else experiencing this?

Yes rickker, all who bought it apparently. Just played mine some days ago and its the same which is a shame as it looks fantastic. The guys at OWS acknowledge on their forum that they have had a lot of problems with the glow vinyl and wont be using that material again. They advise that you contact them about it and they can sort you out.

It's all copies. Glow In The Dark vinyl in general suffers from this, not just this pressing (Mondo's Poltergeist, Waxwork's Re-Animator). It's compounded by the fact that there's also another color so you can hear the difference instead of it being a constant. I've yet to spin mine, but I'm sure the issue is there. It's cool to look at, but if you're looking to get the best quality, go with the black pressing (that goes for any colored vinyl really).
