Hi family. Does anyone have an extra copy of Sides C and D. I have 2 copies of Sides A and B. Most peculiar. Maybe someone is interested in a swap.
Thank for taking your time to read this. X

Overall superb master and pressing; awesome depth of sound and immersion for key tracks like "Do You Feel Loved," "Staring At The Sun," "Last Night On Earth" and "Wake Up Dead Man"; I agree with others that "Discotheque" is a tad lacking compared to other tracks, but it's still an improvement over the CD. My copy is clean and whisper quiet.

Everybody is always praising the Achtung Baby! especially those who don't really know U2 and it is very good indeed. But this one is the one they released at their creative zenith. Their Re-Mixers were as well and they still released very good b-sides. We got the Passengers album the Bat-Man-Song and A Million Dollar Hotel with two classics on it. Sadly it all went downhill from there and today they are at the lowest low so far and even a jukebox in Las Vegas. Sad to see.

I was a big big fan of this one. The POPMART Tour was my first U2 show. I always found the CD a bit murky, but this remaster is a great upgrade. All of the parts are very clear, good solid pressing. Couldn’t be happier!

The records are translucent when held to light (see pics), which is not mentioned in the description above. Normally this signals the use of higher grade vinyl.

Hmm... Yes. Yes! Yeah!!! This has gotta be my favourite U2 album. Ever. I love J-Tree and Rattle And Hum. I love them dearly. Attention Baby is a revolution. But Pop has so much to offer even after dozens of spins. The most adventurous, daring, outrageous, delicious U2 album with a squeeze of lemon to top it off. They had to be in the wrong state of mind at the right time to create something so brave. It's going to be impossible to recreate this level of craziness again, and they know it. What makes Pop flawless is its flaws. This was not meant to be a sort of homecoming.
P.S.: Note the best ever B-sides. Pop Muzik, Holy Joe, North And South Of The River, Your Blue Room and Happiness Is A Warm Gun and not a bad remix. MOFO!

Got myself a NM Copy of this and I have to say it blows the 2018 reissue out of the water. There are details of music I am hearing for the first time. The reissue sounds muddy and bloated in comparison. This is the one to have. Sold my reissue on eBay.

Great pressing. Clean, quiet and a terrific master. Makes for a fun listening experience since it's historically a pretty roughly mixed album, and this ain't no remix! all the flaws are there in bright, clear detail. check it out.

My first copy sounded horrible. I almost explicitly own coloured vinyl releases from U2 (Boy, October, Unforgettable Fire, Zooropa, HTDAAB, NLOTH, Songs of Innocence and Experience), all of them hands down superb quality, but the Pop release had a lot of pops, cracks and it skips every now and then (especially on the first disc). Absolute waste, because the mastering is excellent.

Update: bought a second copy and that one sounds superb!
